Device lab

Test every device around your computer.

Webcam, microphone, keyboard, mouse, controller, screen and connection. Each test opens in its own window, ends in a verdict, and says what to fix. Free, nothing installed, nothing uploaded.

Questions

The device lab, answered

What can I test here?
Webcam, microphone, speakers, internet speed, screen and screen sharing, location permission, browser settings, keyboard, mouse, controller, touch screen, dead pixels, refresh rate, battery, and a device info card. Each test runs in its own window and gives a verdict with what to fix.
Is anything uploaded or stored?
No. Every test reads the device on this page and stops. Camera and microphone data stay in the browser, the speed test sends random bytes to this site only, and nothing is kept unless you email yourself a result.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Everything runs in Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari. A few checks need a permission the browser asks for, one at a time, with a sentence saying why.
How is this different from other hardware test sites?
Each test ends in a verdict against real requirements, such as the upload speed an exam vendor or a streaming platform needs, and says what to do when it fails. It also says plainly what a browser cannot see, and it sits next to a real stress test of the computer itself.

Then test the computer itself. The free stress test, in the same browser.
