1. What has been checked
An audit in September 2026 covered the marketing pages, the set-up flow and the report: colour contrast against the tokens, heading structure, accessible names on every control, live regions for changing figures, focus order and a visible focus ring, the skip link, keyboard operation of the processor picker and the pricing dialog, and motion under a reduced-motion preference. Every finding from that audit was fixed. Layout tests measure the sticky rails on six page types and fail the build if one cannot be reached.
2. How the site is built for it
- Keyboard. Every control is reachable and operable by keyboard. The processor picker is a combobox with arrow, Home, End, Enter and Escape handling; the launch control accepts Enter as well as a press-and-hold; dialogs trap focus and return it on close.
- Screen readers. Progress during a run is announced through live regions. Decorative drawings are hidden; charts carry text equivalents; the report opens in plain words before any chart.
- Motion. Under a reduced-motion preference the animated grounds are stilled and transitions shortened. Nothing flashes.
- Contrast. Text colours are chosen from a token set checked against their grounds at AA; the caption grey on dark sections was raised after the audit found it short.
- Structure. One H1 per page, headings in order, landmarks for navigation, main content and footer, and a skip link to the main content.
3. Known to fall short
- Small controls. The report's download control and the navigation's controls are 32 to 36 pixels tall. That meets the AA minimum of 24 pixels and falls short of the AAA target of 44.
- Not yet reviewed. The live stage screens during a run, the mobile gate, the printed report and a screen-reader walkthrough of a complete run have not yet had a dedicated review.
- The scene. The live scene in the stage window is visual by nature. The side pane carries the same information as text and figures, and the report does not depend on having watched it.
4. Tell us about a barrier
If something on the site or in the tool is hard or impossible to use with your setup, write to support@systemcheck.live and say what you were trying to do and what happened. Barriers are treated as defects and fixed in the next release, not filed for later.
