What to use instead. And when not to switch.

Each guide lays out the real options for the job, most of which are not SystemCheck, and ends by saying when the tool you are trying to replace is still the right answer.

A note on what we can and cannot do

These tools do genuinely different jobs. 3DMark produces a citable GPU figure. Cinebench measures a real rendering workload. Geekbench spans phones and desktops on one scale. PassMark covers storage. SystemCheck answers a narrower question (whether a machine holds its performance once it has heated up) from a browser tab, with nothing to install.

There is no web API for temperature, power draw, fan speed or VRAM, so no browser-based tool can report them, ours included. If you need real sensor values, a native utility such as HWiNFO is the right answer and we say so on every page where it matters.
