All-core boost
All-core boost is the frequency a CPU holds when every core is loaded, always lower than the single-core boost clock because power and heat scale with active cores.

Part of the four-stage run: a 60-second sustained CPU load reporting throughput, decay and consistency; a memory stage reporting bandwidth and latency; a calibrated GPU raster load reporting frame time, pacing and decay; and a path tracer reporting samples per second. Boost tables are indexed by active core count. One or two cores loaded gets the headline number; six cores gets less; all cores gets the lowest tier. The gap between single-core and all-core boost is commonly 300-800 MHz on desktop parts and wider on laptops where the package power budget is tighter.
All-core boost is what governs rendering, compiling, video encoding, and simulation. Single-core boost governs game logic threads, spreadsheet recalculation, and most everyday interactive responsiveness. Neither number alone describes a machine, which is why comparing on one of them produces bad buying decisions.

Comparing your multi-core result against your own single-thread behaviour is a practical way to see how much your machine gives up when everything is busy.
