Why people look for an alternative
- It measures one workload type, CPU rendering, which may not represent how you actually use the machine.

- Narrow workload and a much smaller comparison ecosystem.
SystemCheck

It reads the shape of the CPU curve to name why performance fell: a power budget expiring, cooling falling behind, or something else contending for the cores.

- Finding out whether a machine holds its performance under sustained load and, when it does not, why, on any desktop OS, without installing anything.
- Limitation
- It cannot read temperatures, power draw, fan speed or VRAM. No browser exposes an API for them. Results are directional rather than lab-grade and move with browser, driver and background load.
When Cinebench is still the right choice
Cinebench remains the right tool when you want a widely published CPU rendering score to compare against a large set of known results, or when rendering is genuinely your workload. Its result set is far deeper than anything a newer tool can offer.
