01A slide that flattens after the work
The classic paste-and-dust job, documented. This is the one where a customer who was going to argue about the bill stops arguing.
02A curve that does not change after the work
The limit was never thermal. Before you order parts, check whether the machine is simply doing what the manufacturer set it to do at that power limit.
03Two runs that disagree with each other
Something intermittent: a fan that sometimes spins up, a contact that sometimes makes. Worth finding now, because it will be a warranty visit otherwise.

Where a browser stops
What it cannot tell you.
- No temperatures and no fan speeds, so it complements the sensor tooling you already run rather than replacing it. It measures the effect; your tools measure the cause.
- It cannot identify a specific failed component. It tells you the machine cannot hold its performance and roughly why; it does not tell you which fan.
- No drive or battery health, both of which belong in a hand-over report and neither of which a browser can see.
Which run

A thermal fault that a three-minute run misses will be back on the bench in a month. Take the eight minutes at intake, at least.
Both kinds are free. The choice is on the set-up screen.
Questions
Asked in these words.
- Why not just use the tools I already have?
- Keep them. This one has a specific property they do not: the customer can open the result themselves, on their own phone, and read it in plain words. It is not a better measurement than a sensor log. It is a more explainable one.
- Can I run it on a machine I have not imaged yet?
- Yes, that is the point of it running in a browser. Nothing is installed and nothing is left behind, so an intake test does not change the state of a machine you may need to hand back untouched.
- Does it work on a machine that will not hold a charge?
- Run it plugged in. On battery most machines apply a lower power limit and the report flags that, so a battery run and a mains run are never compared as if they were the same test.
