Slowdown on a MacBook Air
A fanless MacBook Air slows once it warms up. Some slowdown is expected by design; the report shows how much.
MacBook Pro and desktops
Machines with fans should hold their speed. A large slowdown on one is worth a closer look.
Graphics smoothness
How evenly frames arrived. Uneven frames on a Mac often mean another app is using the graphics at the same time.
Memory pressure
The browser cannot see memory in use. Activity Monitor's Memory Pressure graph shows whether memory, not the chip, is the limit.

How full your memory is
A web page cannot see how much memory is in use. If the machine slows down with many apps or tabs open, check it directly.

No browser can read a temperature sensor, so heat shows here only as speed lost over time.

- Can I benchmark my Mac online?
- Yes. The test runs in Safari or Chrome on any recent Mac, with nothing to download, and measures processor, memory and graphics under load.
- Does it work on M1, M2, M3 and M4 Macs?
- Yes. It runs on every Apple silicon Mac and on Intel Macs. The report explains unified memory where it applies.
- Is it normal for a MacBook Air to slow down?
- Yes, to a point. A MacBook Air has no fan and lowers its speed as it warms. The test shows how much, which is useful when comparing two machines or checking a used one.
- Does it show my Mac's temperature?
- No. No browser can read temperature sensors on a Mac or a PC. The test measures lost speed instead.
- Is it the same as Geekbench?
- No. Geekbench is an app that measures short bursts. This test runs in the browser and measures whether the Mac keeps its speed under sustained load, which is what a hot Mac changes.
