How we're funded

Paid by readers, not by advertisers.

How a measurement tool makes money shapes what it tells you. SystemCheck is paid for by readers who unlock a report, and by no one else.

Where the money comes from

Running the core four-stage benchmark is free and requires no account. SystemCheck earns revenue when someone chooses to unlock a full report for a single run. That is the entire business model: an optional payment, from a user, for a product they decided was worth it after seeing their result.

What we refuse to sell

• No display ads

  There are no banner ads, no ad-network scripts, and nothing on the page competing with your result for attention.

• No vendor sponsorship

  No hardware manufacturer, retailer, or brand pays us for placement, and none can. Sponsorship would compromise the one thing we sell: an honest number.

• No paid rankings

  A company cannot pay to raise a score, bury an unfavorable measurement, or change how a component is evaluated.

• No selling your data

  Your measurements and any email you share are not a product. We do not sell, rent, or trade them.

Why this model keeps us honest

When advertisers or vendors pay the bills, the incentive is to please them. When readers pay for a report, the incentive is to make that report genuinely worth the price, which is exactly the incentive we want. If a paid report finds no fixable issue, our refund policy returns your money, so we are never paid for an answer that did not help.

Independence

SystemCheck is independently owned and operated. Because our revenue comes from unlocks rather than sponsorship, we can measure any hardware the same way and report the result without anyone’s permission. That is the whole point.
