How do I stress test my laptop's GPU?
Run a sustained graphics load for at least ten to fifteen minutes and watch what happens to the frame rate rather than to the peak score. Graphics throttling on laptops develops slowly, because the processor and graphics card usually share a heatsink and have to reach their limits together.
Stop immediately if the machine shuts down, if artefacts appear on screen, or if the chassis becomes too hot to touch. Those are results, not reasons to keep going.

Measure it instead of guessing
